How to delete your OnlyFans account for good, step by step

How to delete your OnlyFans account for good, step by step

· Minettes VIP

Yes, you can, it takes two minutes, and there's no going back. Log in, go to Settings → Account, scroll to the bottom, choose Delete account, type the verification code shown on screen and confirm. But first, something most guides skip: deleting your account doesn't refund what you already paid, and if all you want is to stop being charged, you don't need to delete it. The steps, and what you lose with each option, are below.

This post is for you if you have an OnlyFans subscriber account and want to close it for good. It isn't for you if you only want to stop paying a creator: that's done by turning off auto-renew, and it's covered in how to cancel and when you get a refund. And if you're a creator, the process is different: your account stays disabled until the subscriptions you already sold run out.

Before you delete: what you lose for good

Deleting the account is final. What goes with it:

WhatWhat happens when you delete
Your active subscriptionsThey end right away. What's left of the month isn't refunded
What you unlocked (paid messages, photos, videos)You lose access. There's no way to download it afterwards
Your OnlyFans wallet balanceIt isn't paid back to your bank. According to published guides, the account stays usable for a few weeks so you can spend it
The charge history on your cardIt doesn't go away: that lives at your bank, not at OnlyFans

If you have wallet credit, spend it first. And if you just paid for a subscription, wait for the month to end: turning off auto-renew first and deleting later lets you use what you already paid for.

The steps on desktop

  1. Go to onlyfans.com and log in.
  2. Click your profile picture or the profile icon, top right.
  3. In the menu that opens, choose Settings.
  4. In the left-hand menu, go to Account.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page, to the Delete account section, and expand it.
  6. Type the verification code shown in the image.
  7. When the Delete account button becomes active —it turns red—, click it and confirm.

If yours was a subscriber-only account, it's deleted right then.

On mobile: there's no app, it's the website

A lot of guides tell you to "open the OnlyFans app". There is no official app, on either the App Store or Google Play: Apple's and Google's adult-content policies don't allow it. What you have on your phone is the website, even if you saved it as a home-screen shortcut and it looks like an app.

So the steps are the same, in your phone's browser:

  1. Open onlyfans.com in your browser and log in.
  2. Tap your picture or the profile icon (on mobile it's usually bottom right).
  3. Settings → Account.
  4. Scroll down to Delete account, type the code and confirm.

If any "OnlyFans app" asks for your username and password, don't use it: it isn't OnlyFans, and that's exactly how accounts get stolen. How to spot it is in how to know if an OnlyFans account is real.

The verification code: what it is and why you can't skip it

Some people search for how to delete the account "without verification". The code you're asked for isn't an identity check: it's a captcha, letters and numbers in an image, to confirm you're a person and that you really want to delete. No ID, no selfie.

There's no way around it, and no way to delete the account without logging in. If a page offers to delete it "without logging in" or "without the code", it isn't real.

If you can't get into your account

You have to be logged in to delete it, so getting access back comes first:

  • You forgot the password: use the reset option on the login screen; a link goes to the account's email.
  • You no longer have that email: contact OnlyFans support through the help form, with the account's email and details of a charge (date and amount) to show it's yours.
  • You think it was stolen: change the password as soon as you're in, remove the saved card, and tell your bank if you see charges you don't recognize. More on charges in is it safe to pay on OnlyFans?.

Deleting, cancelling or blocking: not the same thing

Half the people searching "delete account" actually want something else. The three options:

Turn off auto-renewDelete the accountBlock the creator
Will you be charged again?NoNoYes, if the subscription is still active
Do you keep what you paid for?Yes, until the month endsNo, you lose it right awayYes
Do you get money back?NoNoNo
Can you undo it?Yes, turn it back on anytimeNoYes
Who it's forYou want to stop paying someoneYou want to leave OnlyFansYou want to stop seeing someone

If what worries you is the next charge, turning off auto-renew is faster and takes nothing away. Deleting makes sense when you won't use the account again, or when you don't want an account in your name with your card saved to keep existing.

What about charges already on my card?

Deleting the account doesn't touch your statement: charges already made stay, because they're your bank's records. And it isn't grounds for a refund. If there's a charge you don't recognize, a duplicate or a wrong amount, that's claimed separately, and before you delete, because afterwards you can't open a case from the account. Which cases get refunded and which don't is in how to cancel and when you get a refund.

Where Minettes VIP fits

If you're leaving OnlyFans because you don't want a card saved on a subscription platform, Minettes VIP works differently: access is free with ads, and signing up asks for an email and confirming you're an adult, not a card. How it works is in Minettes VIP free with ads.

Frequently asked questions

Can you delete an OnlyFans account for good?

Yes. From Settings → Account → Delete account, with the verification code. It's permanent: it can't be recovered afterwards.

How do I delete my OnlyFans account on mobile?

The same as on desktop, but in your phone's browser: there's no official OnlyFans app. Go to onlyfans.com, tap your profile, Settings → Account, scroll to Delete account, type the code and confirm.

If I delete my OnlyFans account, do I get my money back?

No. Deleting ends your subscriptions right away and you lose what's left of the month, with no refund. If you just paid, turn off auto-renew and wait for the period to end before deleting.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscriptions?

Yes, all of them at once, and they won't renew. But if you only want to stop paying, you don't need to delete anything: turn off auto-renew on each subscription and keep access until the month ends.

Can I delete my OnlyFans account without verification?

No. The code is an on-screen captcha, not an identity check, and it can't be skipped. You also can't delete the account without logging in: if you can't get in, recover access first.

Can I recover my account after deleting it?

No. A subscriber account is deleted on the spot and can't be restored. If you come back, it's with a new account, and what you'd unlocked doesn't return.
